The Brief
11.11 (Singles’ Day) is one of the biggest online sale events of the year after originating in China—arguably the biggest shopping day in the world. We teamed up with e-commerce giant Lazada on two promotional videos to highlight daily discount coupons and the ability to stack different vouchers for even more savings.

The Approach
If you’ve ever shopped during an e-commerce sale, you’ll know how incredible the savings are when you’re equipped with the right vouchers. We created one video that focused on the daily discount coupons a shopper could start collecting days before the actual 11.11 sale, and a second one that highlighted the additional savings one could nab simply by stacking different vouchers—from platform to seller-specific ones. We kept our animation simple by placing Lazada’s familiar colours and interface front and centre, focusing on the mechanics to make sure the community knew the extensive perks they were in for.
