The Brief
To celebrate the EuroCup 2024, Lazada brought their mascot Lazzie into the spotlight for their co-branding campaign: All-Star Champions Sale.
The concept was simple yet engaging—a football-themed film showcasing Lazzie’s tricks while seamlessly transitioning to featured brands and products. With bursts of confetti, voucher glitter, and bold discounts, the campaign aimed to energise customers across markets.

The Approach
We embraced the football fever and designed a dynamic, action-packed sequence featuring Lazzie. Using anime-like 2D illustrations along with animation and cel animation techniques, we crafted lively scenes that captured the excitement of a football match. Each transition felt like a goal-scoring moment, with Lazzie’s kicks introducing dazzling wipe effects that revealed brand USPs.
To ensure consistency across markets, we created adaptable assets—providing fully cleaned-up working files that could be easily customised by local teams. By meticulously optimising files, we eliminated potential plugin issues and ensured seamless handovers, empowering Lazada’s regional teams to localise the content effortlessly.
