Our Mission

At Genesis Motion Design, our mission is simple: elevate the standard of animation and motion graphics across Southeast Asia and beyond. Founded in 2015, we set out to bridge the creative gap between Hollywood-calibre production values and the rapidly growing Asian market. Every frame we produce is guided by three principles — creative excellence, technical precision, and authentic storytelling. We believe that great animation does more than look good; it moves audiences, drives results, and builds lasting brand equity. From game trailers that ignite global communities to explainer videos that simplify complex ideas, our work is designed to make an impact that endures.

Based in the heart of Singapore

Our Studio

Genesis Motion Design operates from our studio at 10 Anson Road, International Plaza, Singapore 079903. Located in the central business district, our facility houses a full in-house production team of animators, illustrators, designers, and directors. This central location allows us to collaborate closely with clients across Asia-Pacific while maintaining the quick turnaround times that global brands demand. Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art workstations, render infrastructure, and collaborative spaces designed specifically for the creative process. We welcome clients and partners to visit us for production meetings, creative reviews, and project kick-offs.

Founder, Creative & Animation Director

Benjamin Ang

Born and raised in Singapore, Benjamin Ang worked both in Singapore and Los Angeles, California, when he noticed a disparity in approaching work and the importance of culture, between the two motion design industries.

 

Genesis was formed in 2015, to bridge the gap by infusing a positive blend of both cultures and with the believe of raising the standards of motion graphics and animation in the South-east Asian region.

 

Genesis is humbled to be internationally recognised (ie, Webby Award Nominee, W3 Awards Best of Show, idN Magazine) and does work for international brands such as Facebook, McDonald’s, Disney, Riot Games, Razer, ASUS, MSI, etc.

 

Benjamin pursues giving back to the design community by giving talks at regional design events (ie, Graphika Manila, Halography Vietnam), YouTube channels (ie, The Futur), and schools. He also curates high-quality work on the Motion Designers Community’s Facebook.

 

He was honoured to be selected in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2020 (Media, Marketing & Advertising category) and featured on prestigious websites such as Entrepreneur and Vulcan Post.
